(February, 2015) – Southern California’s destination for inspiration, and a premier culinary capital, interior design, event, and boutique-shopping haven, SOCO, has today announced thathighly-acclaimedChef Laurent Brazier, Executive Chef Instructor of LaCuisine Culinary Arts’ Professional Program, will open his first French bistro in the United States – Bistro Papillote by La Cuisine at The OC Mix at SOCO. Joining an already impressive list of award-winning chefs at SOCO, Chef Laurent’s previous experience spans Three Michelin Starred restaurants in France, international resort hotels and country clubs, and the creation of several successful restaurants, including his own Zagat-rated Picayo restaurant in Laguna Beach and La Cuisine Culinary Arts at Macy’s at South Coast Plaza.
